What is Pitch Well?

Pitch Well is the first-of-its-kind event competition, bringing together innovators in the employee health and wellness spaces. The most innovative early-stage companies in these industries will pitch to a panel of experts LIVE.

Each participant will get the chance to impress our experts for an opportunity to be chosen as a finalist. The finalist will receive an investment of $100K as well as access to a host of services to accelerate their businesses. Our experts will be part of panel discussions in the afternoon on cutting edge strategies and best-in-class tactics in their space. Join us for our live stream, ask questions, and in the afternoon, get an opportunity to learn from our experts!

Chetan Bagga – Host

As Founder and CEO of Archetype Solutions Group, Chetan works with mid-market enterprises to build sound, sustainable revenue streams by maximizing the value of their data and customer relationships. Archetype’s two arms, Consultancy and Venture Development, have a strong record in healthcare, hospitality, and finance industries. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in International Relations, Chetan pursued a career in data analytics with a focus on solving sales and marketing problems. His career started at ZS Associates, developing robust forecasting models and tools to build global sales forces. After ZS, he took on the role of Director of Analytics and Business Development at Meritum Partners in New York.

Ryan Picarella – Host

As President and CEO of WELCOA, Ryan works with communities and organizations around the country to ignite social movements that will improve the lives of all working people in America and around the world. With a deep interest in culture and sociology, Ryan approaches initiatives from a holistic perspective that recognizes the many paths to well-being that must be in alignment for long-term healthy lifestyle behavior change. Ryan brings immense knowledge and insight to WELCOA from his background in psychology and a career that spans human resources, organizational development and wellness program and product design. Prior to joining WELCOA, Ryan managed the award winning BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) Well@Work employee wellness program, a 2012 C. Everett Koop honorable mention awardee.

Iain Fitzpatrick

Iain is an expert in wielding innovation for the goals of company growth, and he has a multitude of experience in scaling businesses. He served as the managing director of productized services at Hay Group, growing the operation from $2M to over $150M, and helping position the company for acquisition by Korn Ferry. Iain understands the significance of innovation when it comes to company growth and serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for ASG, and as an advisor to our partners.

Colleen Reilly

Colleen Reilly has been a leader in the wellbeing industry for over 20 years.   She is the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Immersive Worlds, the VR technology platform providing a more effective solution for sustainable behavior modification in the healthcare and wellbeing industry.  She serves on the Board for Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA). Her experience spans time spent at Accenture, Coors Brewing Company, Mayo Clinic and Nelnet. Colleen founded Total Well-Being in 2008 and sold in 2016.  Total Wellbeing was one of the nation’s leading provider of corporate well-being consulting and SaaS wellbeing platform. Some of her clients included State of Arizona, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Molson Coors and Keurig Green Mountain.

Margaret Dolan

Margaret Dolan brings a wealth of financial, executive, and civic experience to her role as President & CEO of Launch Tennessee, a public-private partnership that empowers a statewide network of resources supporting Tennessee’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, with the vision to make Tennessee the most startup-friendly state in the nation. Prior to joining LaunchTN in 2018, Margaret was Principal, neil Strategies, LLC, and Managing Director for AuthEX, a subsidiary of Worth Group, LLC. She previously served as President & CEO of LocalShares, President & CEO of Saint Thomas Health Foundations, and Executive Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Saint Thomas Health, a subsidiary of Ascension Health. 

Shawn Orenstein

As Managing Principal of Kistler Tiffany Benefits, a OneDigital Health & Benefits Company, Shawn primarily focuses on talent acquisition, sales strategy, market consistency, and business growth. He is passionate about health care and customer service and possesses a keen insight and understanding into the unique challenges and obstacles the health care industry poses to companies. Shawn previously served as president and as CEO of Kistler Tiffany Benefits until the company was acquired by OneDigital in January 2020.

Dave Kerrigan

Dave Kerrigan is the Founder and Managing Director at Sante Nasc, LLC, a healthcare and employee benefits advisory and consulting firm working primarily with benefit consultants to “source innovation” – connecting benefit professionals to the latest innovations being offered in the space. He is a regular speaker at health care conferences and events in the benefits space. He also works with healthcare startups and new entrants to the benefits field, providing go-to-market strategy and growth services. Dave is also the creator of BenefitPitch® from Sante Nasc, LLC – a searchable database tool that allows benefit professionals to have access to key information on innovative companies offering services to self-funded employers.

Jane Allen

Jane Allen is an inspiring leader, a pioneering female entrepreneur, and a market disruptor who has innovated in traditional professions with unrivaled success. Allen, entrepreneur and founder of Counsel on Call, n/k/a Legility, and Hanner Clarke, is the CEO of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC), a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs with the resources needed to increase their probability for success at any stage in their life-cycle. Since taking over the role in October of 2019, Allen’s experience in taking a business from the idea phase to a fully scaled, successful company has proven key in helping the EC strengthen its role as a significant support system for the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nashville. 

Leslie Lynn Smith

Leslie Lynn Smith is the founding president and CEO of Epicenter, the nonprofit hub of the greater Memphis entrepreneurial movement. Using a systems approach, Smith leads a team that drives strategy and measures impact among a network of partners to support new and existing startups and small businesses in order to create a just, inclusive, and growing economy that benefits all Memphians. Smith’s role in Memphis comes after five years of successful leadership as president and CEO of Detroit’s TechTown business incubator and accelerator, where she expanded tech-based company creation and launched robust and impacful regional collaborations. 

John Hopkins

John is a nationally recognized strategic growth coach, a published author, columnist, and the founder of Inspirit Growth ® , that exclusively serves closely held and entrepreneurial businesses. John connects over 35 years of experience as a Predictive Index® Certified Partner, growth coach, strategic planner, and execution management expert. John gained extensive hands on experience serving entrepreneurial businesses through years of innovative client service as a Partner in PwC . As the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for CBIZ, a NYSE traded company, John worked with over 200 closely held companies in transitioning their businesses.

Stephen Kaye

Stephen Kaye is a Senior Advisor to Archetype Solutions Group. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Hay Group, a Global Management Consulting Company with operations in 45 countries, from 2013 until its sale to Korn Ferry in December 2015 and served as CEO of Korn Ferry Hay Group, the combined advisory businesses of Hay Group and Korn Ferry, until 2017, overseeing the integration of the two businesses and leading over 3,000 professionals. Kaye had previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Hay Group from 1998. He has served as a Board Member of the Association of Management Consulting Firms. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London and was a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Kaye has been a contributor to CNBC and Bloomberg.
